Winter Scent-Inspired DIY Cleaners – Clean Mama

Scent can conjure up emotions and recollections with even the slightest scent. On this season of uncertainty, let’s add a bit seasonal scent to our cleaners. When you haven’t DIY’d a cleaner, that is the right time to attempt one. When you already DIY your cleaners, let’s create a signature winter scent. Each spray and scrub will give your own home that cozy winter scent whilst you safely clear your own home. I’ve three easy winter scent combos to share with you – you possibly can select one scent, attempt all of them or give you your personal signature winter scent.

WINTER SCENT COMBINATIONS

Bergamot + Juniper – use a 2:1 ratio

Candy Orange + Clove – use a 2:1 ratio

Juniper + Vanilla + Lemon – use equal elements

DIY RECIPES TO WINTER-IZE

ALL-PURPOSE DISINFECTING SPRAY
1 1/four cups water
1/four cup white vinegar
1/four cup vodka or rubbing alcohol
15 drops important oil
PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to up the disinfecting energy on this spray, use Everclear (95% alcohol) as an alternative of vodka – 1/three cup water, 1/three cup white vinegar, 1 cup Everclear, 15 drops important oil.

GLASS CLEANING SPRAY
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 tablespoons rubbing alcohol
three drops important oil

NIGHTLY SINK SCRUB
2 cups baking soda
20 drops important oil
a squirt of castile or dish cleaning soap within the sink

BATHROOM SCRUB
2 cups baking soda
20 drops important oil
a squirt of castile or dish cleaning soap if wanted so as to add a bit sudsing energy
