Mothers really get put through the ringer . I’m happy they understand that passion for life and living and chasing the sport they choose is very important. My mother had to live through three sons chasing dreams. Ride in peace little guy . I hope the healing begins for the family and friends as quick as possible.

How boring would life be if the only things we could do for recreation were 100% safe? The problem would then be how unsafe is it traveling to and from those boring activities? Where would we draw the line? It's sad and unfortunate, but at least the kid died doing what he loved, better than having your life ended by a drunk driver or stray bullet.

Lot of comments hating on the sport. Moto is a great sport. Kids die in all sports and each of them is a tragic event. Life is risky, competition is risky, having fun is risky. Motocross does come with risk, but fatalities are still rare. This is just a sad and tragic accident. It's unnecessary to armchair quarterback and say people shouldn't race the sport they love

What she was trying to convey about the sport when she talked about it was just weird and creepy! “I video tape my son practice every time because I don’t know if this will be his last ride” who the fuck talks like that about their child’s sport like that. They need to use LED lightsets, ahead of the visually obstructed portions of Motorcross tracks. 4 green lights across indicates open lanes on other side of hill, Two green on left a yellow and a Red means 2 lanes are obstructed ahead, the Red light is a downed rider is in that lane. 4 red is a stop, all lanes are closed, so bikes don't keep piling up..

Allow children to take risks and win stupid prizes. You ask me it is parental neglect. The state should be protecting profit seeking companies allowing children to play adult sports.
