  1. Not a terrible deal getting a full refund AND another free cruise both. Yeah, it doesn't cover the cost of travel but I wouldn't have been surprised if they'd prorated the refund depending on how long into the cruise they'd been.

  2. Didn’t say how many days they sailed before the iceberg. Not sure if excursion reservations that might have been booked and cancelled because of the iceberg were a part of the refund. If he had any alcohol and amenities not included with the cruise package then the difference would be taken out the refund I assume.

  3. I have lived in Alaska most of my life and when you take a glacier Cruise you’re dealing with nature, this is not a Disneyland theme park. Glaciers break off, Bears, wolves, wolverines, etc Will ATTACK! I don’t think the cruise line should’ve paid anybody back. The cruise line should have everyone sign proceed at your own risk PERIOD. My experience is these knuckleheads that say oh look at the pretty bear let’s go pet it and the people think ice in water is a thin piece that floats UH NO! Kenai fjords Tours is this far as this girl will go in that water.
