Bring donations to Stuff the Truck Good Shepherd Catholic Church July 14-16, 2023.

If you’ve been overstocking with BOGO deals, now’s a good time to share. The Stuff the Truck food drive at Good Shepherd Catholic Church is gearing up for its July 14-16 event.

The goal is to stuff a U-Haul box truck with 200 or more boxes of nonperishable food and personal hygiene items to help the food program at the nonprofit Good News Outreach.

Summer can be a tough time for the food insecure. School kids lose access to free meals. Visitors who donate head north for cooler weather. Locals go on vacation.

A volunteer waits in 2022 for more boxes of food to load on the truck bound for Good News Outreach as part of the Stuff the Truck food drive at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Tallahassee. The 2023 event is set for July 14-15 at Good Shepherd.
