The thing that saves one's butt with LA's Totally Awesome is that it specifically says it is for carpet (among a ton of other things) right on the bottle and provides a mix ratio. Fabuloso, PineSol, Mr. Clean do not, and In some cases (like Mr. Clean) expressly say NOT to use it on carpet as it will leave a residue.
Awesome has been around a long time. Many years ago we had a snow storm that closed the entire area down for weeks. Ran out of our usual carpet cleaning product and hit a Dollar Store I believe it was. Picked up a bottle of Awesome because that was all we could find. Cleaned a clients carpet we had cleaned for years and I remember thinking we may end up going back to reclean when we get our regular products in. She called a couple weeks later, thanked us and said her carpet never looked so good. Off white/cream colored nylon wall to wall. 🤪🤪 Haven't put a bottle on our trucks since but not a bad idea
