An obligatory caveat: It’s Week 1.

But Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter and quarterback Shedeur Sanders both saw their Heisman Trophy odds shift dramatically following the Buffaloes’ 45-42 win over TCU on Saturday.

Hunter, who caught 11 passes for 119 yards and recorded an interception, is now 35-1 to win the award, according to BetMGM, up from 150-1 last week. Sanders’ odds jumped from 125-1 to 40-1 after he threw for 510 yards and four touchdowns.

At 9-2 odds, reigning Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams remains the favorite to repeat after throwing for 319 yards and five touchdowns in a 66-14 win over Nevada. Through two games, the USC quarterback has completed 73.5 percent of his passes and has nine touchdowns and no interceptions.

Fellow Pac-12 quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is now next in line. The Washington QB’s odds improved to 17-2 after he threw five touchdown passes in a 56-19 rout of Boise State. Penix finished eighth in the Heisman voting last year.

LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels entered the season as the second favorite behind Williams. But his odds dropped to 35-1 after the Tigers lost to Florida State on Sunday, 45-24.
