A Sarasota World War II veteran died while waiting for an appeal on a pension decision, but now his daughter is pushing for officials with the Department of Veterans Affairs to take another look.

  2. Shameful Absolutely shameful. They give illegal immigrants thousands hundreds of thousands of dollars but when it comes to taking care of our own people, specially our veterans they pull this shit. People should be held accountable and fired. I am absolutely pissed off at our joke of a government!

  3. Bless them. I wish I could have thanked him for his service to our country. My son is a disabled Navy Veteran, I've fought the VA on his behalf nearly 20 years. We are done fighting, I will work for him till I draw my last breath and leave him in the best situation I can. But, we will not beg anymore for what he is due. We will never let the VA, or government, ruin one more day of our lives.
    They make it as hard as they can for our Veterans, that's why 22 of them take their lives PER DAY.

  4. amazing how fast some claims of disability etc, are jumped on with little to no proof & others are shoved to the bottom of the pile where they remain out of sight out of mind & the only results people see are "form letters"

  5. USS Quincy CA 71, My Dad was in all of the big battles in The Pacific. He was treated everyday in the ships sick bay, for a body fungus he came down with. After release, he filed 5 claims during his lifetime. Denied X 5. As mild as your condition maybe, Zero Compensation. He still had the fungus growing in his scalp at 82. I found a VA Dr. Mary Panzetta, she was appalled at what they had done to him. She also said this man should have had 100% service connected day one, at ETS.
    He lived one year more & died at 83, although he was happy to Finally get his service connected disability after 60 Year's of trying.
    Now they're doing the same thing to me with a spinal injury from Special Forces , 
    I had to have two spinal fusions for ruptured discs & then chemical damaged from Chinese CCP toxic medication being sold to Veterans. It took my eyesight, lung function, teeth & hair, all in less than 7 months. 
    I finally told the VA toxic drug slinger to stuff it, I'm not taking it, but I'm still suffering daily & still getting worse now with Peripheral Neuropathy, losing the use of my hands & feet & balance. Oh, they did throw me a bone, 10% Hearing loss….haha
    I tried to get into my local VA clinic for a blood test to find out what maybe causing the PN. They deleted me from the system after 2 yrs. without notifying me of my new Dr assigned, as Dr. Nixon was transferred to Virginia . Now I'm informed, Franklin Clinic is full & a waiting list. As people from GA., FL, AL. all come up to my local clinic. WTH & I can't get in to my local clinic for a blood test, that I was a member of, but Deleted. As a Veteran with Life Time Medical Coverage.

  7. This is this is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard. The entire U.S. gov, needs an overhaul. This is the richest country on earth right now and mainly because of their military might. It is not just the vets, I have been waiting almost 7 years for disability myself I lost my home, my job and insurance and have become homeless and I have been working since the early 70's. THIS PLACE WILL GET WHAT IT DESERVES SOONER OR LATER
