Hey Paul, I have used the chicago rotary for upholstery and had the same issue with it holding onto pads. I returned it for the drill master which has a lower speed setting and that resolved the problem. I use 8 inch micro fiber pads and they work great. Also, you do really good work.

Challenger makes great 8" pads/towels Works great on the op I use for upholstery. Price might be a little high but great quality. Hope that helps. Thanks for the video 🐧
