So horrible, what devastation. Prayers going up for all affected and their Families as well as first responders.

My heart goes out to the residents and businesses owners of Ft Meyers. I’ve visited Ft Meyers probably a hundred times because my Dad has had a second home in this area ever since I was a teen. Luckily his home is more inland so the damage was minor but it’s heartbreaking to see the colossal loss for everyone near and on the beach. I wish I was there to help you.

Was Ian expected to be so distructive or came the heaviness of it as a total surprise?? I can Imagne such a storm does not follow the weather predictions so what if it suddenly turns the other way and it seems also way more brutal when it’s slamming into your streets etc?
Mother Nature was raging here for sure!
