FAMU homecoming, FSU home football game scheduled for same day Oct. 29

it is already almost impossible to find rooms during FAMU's Homecoming weekend but to add FSU's game against a conference opponent on the same day is ridiculous. This is going to be a nightmare for both FAMU and FSU fans. Since the SWAC (Southwestern Athletic Conference) and the ACC both fall under the direction of the NCAA, in this very unique situation, they should be able to work together to at least TRY to develop schedules that do not clash with one another on big game weekends. Will the schools always be able to avoid playing in Tallahassee on the same day? Of course not but an effort should be made at the least. It's not fair for the fans to have to compete for the very limited amount of hotel rooms that are present in the Tallahassee area.
