  1. Crazy cops will be making everyone they pull over do it. I was innocent and a crazy cop almost destroyed my life. Don't give cops more power, They'll abuse it, as always.

  2. In Australia, if you refuse a breath test on side of the road, your are instantly taking back to the station for a comprehensive test, if you refuse this, you are charged at the highest rate of DUI( driving under the influence)

  3. You people that CLAIM it'll save lives and that seems to outweigh everything. How bout you leave FREE PEOPLE to be FREE PEOPLE? You do not need a breathalyzer to determine a drunk driver. If they're capable of a field test or seem sober, get over yourself, they won't be an issue. SUBMIT TO THE STATE. That's all they want.

  4. The cops don't change the mouth piece. You can get a blood test at a hospital! I'll never take a breathalyzer again. I never drink, & a cop tried to claim I blew a 2.8! He'd rigged the mouth piece. That won't reduce drunk driving, there are ways to beat those car locks. Either people have their license, or they don't. People refuse, BECAUSE COPS RIG THOSE BREATH PIECES & DON'T CHANGE THEM BETWEEN PEOPLE.

  5. How is it a “loophole” to refuse to blow when you get fucked either way? Oh right, because of burden of proof and the gov is not happy to have to deal with that.

  6. "No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

  7. 99% of the ones not doing the breathalyzer aren’t doing it because they’re drunk. If you’re sober/under the limit…blow. It’s not that hard to do. This country is getting so insane with “omg omg my rights”…this is not something you should be stressing about, don’t drink and drive. That’s it, worry about other laws that are an issue

  8. This better be applied only if there's probable cause like reckless driving or present odor of alcohol. If there's no probable cause but you're still forced to submit to one or lose your privileges then that should be unlawful.
