If we expect 18 year olds to go out into the world and face the same danger and criminals 21 year olds face, why should they not have the right to the same means of self defense? 18 year olds serve in the military and police, yet can’t own a gun?
This law is absolutely unconstitutional. I for one, will not be following it, and further, if anyone wants to own a gun (that they're legally entitled to, under the 2a), i'm sure there's plenty of people willing to help them exercise that right.
In short: as a Floridian myself, I reject this ruling, and its unconstitutionality. To anyone who reads this: you are ABSOLUTELY covered by the 2a to own a rifle/weapon under 21. The mere fact that the state thinks otherwise is exactly why the 2a exists in the first place; they literally don't have the power to decide, enforce, or voice this law.
So much so in fact, that you are legally allowed to defend yourself should they try anything to begin with.

The gun laws should be kept where they are if not raised.
Raise the age for the military to 21
It’s cuz jits be dumb in the south. Not so much Texas.
Lol, way to go DeSantis. Keep those guns out of those young hands. It should be 23.
Being "in line" with other unconstitutional laws, does not mean this one doesn't violate the RIGHT.
It clearly states. SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.
In that case FIRE ALL COPS that are under 21and take their guns.
