Florida woman sees 55% jump in car insurance

I just cancelled my Geico policy yesterday because they raised my rates 40%. Like that lady, nothing has changed in my world. They wouldn't tell me why that much of a jump or anything, they couldn't care less that I was a customer for a long time.
We might need to start dismantling giant companies.

If Governor DeSantis is smart,Compulsory auto insurance should be repealed by executive order!! Insurance companies make their money by screwing over customers with something that is totally irrelevant what does a credit score got to do with insurance:NOTHING,but some fuckface started a LIE saying it does!! All the insurance companies who ripped customers off for this need to be shut down and robbed of the money that they overcharged customers for this nonsense bullshiit and that money returned back to those customers!!

I agree with the insurance companies on the rate hikes. If the insurance companies can’t raise premiums it forces them to raise deductibles, limit coverage, or both.
Since the insurance companies cover almost everything on a car since it’s all risk policy, the 2023 computer on wheels with a NASCAR engine is not going to be cheap to repair or replace when it gets wrapped around a palm tree or sent to a watery grave during a hurricane.
