TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – WCTV teams up with Tallahassee’s animal service center each Friday to try to find homes for some of the more than 100 dogs and cats awaiting adoption right now.

Meet Caramel

Furry Friday – Meet Caramel

Caramel is a sweet girl who likes peaceful surroundings.

She loves to play and chase squirrels.

Caramel is a “foodie” who will do anything for a treat and she loves a good hug.

Caramel is 3 years old.

Meet Gus

Gus is laid back. The 4-year-old enjoys the simple things in life.

Gus enjoys walking and sniffing and he’ll stop in his tracks for a good chin scratch or back scratch.

Meet Heron

Furry Friday – Meet Heron

Heron is a popular pup on the playground. She loves treats galore and getting out for long walks in the sunshine.

Heron has big brown eyes and never met a belly rub she didn’t like.

Heron is 1 year old.

Meet Glover

Furry Friday – Meet Glover

Glover is 1 year old. He’ll do just about anything for a treat and if you’re going for a ride, Glover will hop right in and take the window seat.

Glover loves long walks and wants to be the only dog in your life.

The sweet boy has made two appearances on WCTV this year. First, he landed a spot on Wild Wednesday on Eyewitness News at Noon and now he’s mugging for the camera again for Furry Friday.

People can walk through the kennels at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center on weekends. Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and on Wednesdays at the same time. People can also visit by appointment the rest of the week from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The adoption fee for dogs is $30 and for cats is $20.
