  1. I’ve fished the skyway pier half of my life , now some cry baby Karen has taken my rights away , I pay money to go onto a state owned pier and now I’m restricted from this new law , if there’s a restriction then don’t charge the people to use a public park ! The DOT has posted signs on the road going into the pier with no parking taking away fishing down the road except at one pull off turn around area , this to restricts our rights to use public roads we’re we could fish , when the DOT replaced the bridges going into terra verde and St Pete beach they took away fishing areas the bridge at terra verde has fishing but they put big rocks as a break water that I can not walk on because I’m disabled , the state is taking away our rights now you have to pay , entry fees , parking , boat ramp fees, Thanks Ron DA’ Santis !

  2. They should hire a undocumented immigrant to be in a small motor boat to patrol off the pier and swoop in to untie the birds. They need a bird life guard, anything else is waste of time. Problem solved!!

  3. ah, poor birdies yet she doesn't care about the fish? What's up with that? these folks act as if those who fish do this on purpose – 1 hook or a dozen what's the difference? the odds do not change the odds only increase with an increase in the number of birds & the number of people fishing at any 1 time on that bridge itself – Im surprised she wasn't complaining about the number of boats with people onboard who are fishing & a pelican gets entangled etc, after all where folks are fishing is where they tend to gather seeking a "handout" so I suggest stop the "handouts" also
