A Sarasota County Circuit Court judge made rulings on two of four motions Wednesday that could have a significant effect on the civil lawsuit filed by the family of Gabby Petito against the parents of Brian Laundrie.

  4. What type of mother writes a loving letter to her son then tells him to burn it? What loving letter talks about hiding a body or helping him get out of jail? This woman knew what happened…

  6. Well obviously Brian didnt burn after reading, cause he thought he was gonna take it to his grave. His evil Mother needs to be put behind bars till she sees the wrong about what she did to Gabby and her parents. I do believe Roberta was jealous of Gabby and sure as heck did not care that her precious son was abusing her and eventually murdered her.

  9. When a mother offers to help her son bury a body regardless of who it is, it emboldens the son to commit murder! Why did she ask Brian to burn the letter after reading it?

  13. Gabby's Dad had just bought her the vehicle and her and Brian renovated the vehicle to travel. So seems common sense that the letter was written during the timeframe when Brian left Gabby and drove back to Florida for that week. There was the opportunity to give him a private letter or leave it strategically in the vehicle before he went back. We've always suspected reasons given for Brian coming back for the storage to be emptied was strange to say the least. I think Brian learned early in life that he was favoured between siblings and pampered. So not a stretch that he would turn to his doting Mom who didnt like Gabby. Not a stretch to think she wrote that letter before Bryan left to drive back to rejoin Gabby
