I would never vote for anyone who doesn't finish what they start. He's walking away from an office he took an oath to uphold. His whole demeanor says he's nowhere near ready to serve the American people or deal with foreign policy. Unseasoned, and in my opinion, backed by questionable funding. He even said publicly that he wasn't running. I don't care for people that say one thing, and do another. His best move would have been to endorse President Trump.
I think if he does this, it won't accomplish anything except to split the Republican vote and possibly cause us to end up with worse than what we have now. Trust me, this man will take a salary. President Trump didn't. This man is a politician. President Trump is a businessman, with a proven record. My vote goes to President Trump.
