Judge Danielle Brewer rules to deny the motion of protection for Roberta Laundrie’s “burn after reading” letter. Immediately after the ruling, the attorney for Brian Laundrie’s parents gives the letter to Gabby Petito’s family.

I dont believe he told his mom she was dead. Theres a childrens book called The Runaway Bunny. I feel like thats the vibe his mom intended in the letter and I think she wrote it to him before they went on the trip and the fight was because she did not want him to go. I know his folks didn't handle things right but I still don't think they should be sued for it. They're in as much pain as Gabby's folks. There's no proof they did anything wrong.
the letter does not say burn after WRITING. Laundry Mom 's letter said burn after READING. LOOK : WRITING. . .READING. . . DO THESE LOOK THE SAME? dO THEY MEAN THE SAME?
Why would a letter like that even need to be written before the road trip? Unless he was known to be abusive and his mother knew about it and had his back covering up his bad behaviour his whole life. Denying your child has bad behaviour doesn’t make bad behaviour go away, it makes you both have bad behaviour, maybe she should do the time her son faced since she’s such a committed mother
They didn’t hand it to them. They were ordered by the JUDGE TO HAND IT OVER.
Brian Laundries mama and dad should get jail time guilty as their evil son.
And for the suspect you wanted that gun so bad and you got it. Also, for police training once that officer hesitated with the placing both handcuffs you gave the suspect an opportunity . if you’re gonna pull the handcuffs out secure that subject quickly. That’s just my opinion.

Time for the Laundries to pay the piper, they knew Brian had murdered Gabby and did everything they could to hide it. They are just as evil as their son was.
Well if the letter is so benign and has no information that is anything but a mothers love for her son……why try so hard to keep it out of evidence
I think the Mr. Luka is kicking himself after he said this after "Burn after reading" question: "You can write your personal thoughts down and have that outlet, but then you burn it after writing it so that it gives you some closure to whatever it is that you were describing without other people knowing your personal thoughts" – so, yeah, those WERE RL's personal thoughts. That is how she thinks, thought, will do, will act upon, and what she assured BL that she would do, whether it be before or after she gave the letter, it makes no difference because. In my opinion, she gave it to BL at the campground after our angel's murder, and she did so to try to keep BL from committing suicide. They had a "VERY CLOSE RELATIONSHIP" per RL. PS….remembering that BL left our angel lying there UNBURIED, and RL wants to help BL cover it up.
HOW CARES!?! The news cycle has moved past this case.

While her parents frantically sought help,finding their missing daughter, The Laundries and offered advice/help in burying the body and hiding evidence.
The Laundries argued in court filings they had no duty to be honest to or notify Petito’s family.

I do not need to know what is in the letter. But,I do appreciate updates on this Case.
Respectfully, but are you not a lawyer. Covering some trials and streaming with Peter and Emily do not qualify you to say what a Judge’s ruling may or may not most likely be. There are rules to evidence. Just because a letter was granted to be presented to the court does not indicate logic and “most” likely to be allowed. My mother is a lawyer but it doesn’t make me one by association and neither does you. Don’t litigate. Stick to reporting on the traffic. This is why gag orders become implemented. Reporting out of ignorance.
Prayers For GODSPEED JUSTICE over this case. Gabby was murdered and we should all hope that no other parents would ever have to endure a note passed to the police that they plea the 5th and talk to out lawyer. They likely would still have their own son still here. No doubt he would be behind bars but their actions set certain things in motion
