Drastic times are calling for drastic measures at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. For the first time in its history, the shelter is turning away animals.

I am already at the ‘crazy dog lady’ limit but I would foster if any are sent to my state.

Those poor dogs. They too suffered the fear and trauma of the storm and now their families are gone too. I so wish I was in the position to help one of those lost souls.

I urge all pet lovers to help those lost souls. If I could I would be more than happy to take at least one doggie. They don’t ask for anything but, love, food and water, and for that, they would love you and lick your hands and face and be your best friend forever.
