On the final Leon County Faculty Board assembly, the Board voted unanimously to award $400,000 in non-recurring pay enhancements to administrative and exempt staff. The motion was really useful by Superintendent Rocky Hanna.

TR was informed by Chris Petley, the LCS Coordinator of Communications and Media Relations, that the pay enhancement was offered as a non-recurring merchandise for the 2019-2020 12 months “in preparation for anticipated finances cuts subsequent 12 months.”

A listing of the positions that certified for the enhancement are listed beneath.

The listing contains Assistant Superintendent and Director positions that are paid in extra of $100,000.

The one-time pay enhancement of $1,440 was authorized for LCS staff who weren’t members of a bargaining unit. The merchandise offered to the Board said that the motion “is in accordance with the will increase given to members of the next bargaining items: LESPA and Native 1010; District Council 78 Worldwide Union of Painters and Allied Trades AFL-CIO.”

The $1,440 might be paid over a 3 month interval starting in April.
