Lonna June Cox, 80, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, in Tallahassee, Fla.
She was born to Orval and Dora Myres on May 22, 1943, in Rensselaer.
Ms. Lonna was a thoughtful, vivacious, and warm-hearted Christian woman. She believed in kindness, positivity, and hard work. She was a factory machinist and enjoyed the labors of her career. However, family was the most important aspect of her life. As a child, she was raised in a household of 11 and, as she aged, she adored spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be missed by many.
Ms. Lonna is survived by her sisters, Donna (Myres) Steffy, Sharron (Myres) Reed, and Kay (Myres) Smith; her daughter, Bobbi (Joe) Watson; her granddaughters, Katie Swenson, Taylor Watson, and Bailey Watson; and two great-grandchildren among many other family members and friends.
