  1. Having done car detailing for years the best thing I've found to combat dog hair stuck in vehicle carpeting is using 2 items. First thing is mix 1 part fabric softener with 7 parts water in a spray bottle. Mist it lightly onto carpet. This will reduce static cling and help ball up dog hair. The second thing you'll need is a cheap $3.00 pumice stone that you can purchase at Wal-Mart. Take the pumice stone and use it like a rake and drag it across the carpet in one direction. It will look like raking grass clippings from your yard. Here are a couple of YouTube videos about it. After struggling with vacuuming for endless amounts of time and doing one of my clients 2 vehicles that had 2 wire haired dogs every week, I finally discovered this method and it saved me tons of time and headaches. I just thought I'd give you a little insight so the next time you and your wife don't have to struggle with vacuuming this scenario.

If you have time there are 2 somewhat short videos you may find useful on YouTube about this subject.

The first one's titled, "How To Remove Pet Hair From Your Car" by Detail King

The second one's titled, "Easiest way to remove dog hair from a car (Pumice stone)" by Jordan Jeziorski

P.S. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!! I've been watching your channel for awhile now and truly enjoy your years of knowledge and insight into the business. I'm also from Las Vegas and have been accumulating equipment for some time now when I find good deals. I have a nice portable extractor along with the Oreck Orbiter with all the accessories that you need to use them on residential carpets. I've been thinking about getting into this line of work for some time now so that's why I've been researching and watching your channel along with Corey Thibodeaux's CarpetMuscleTV YouTube channel.

Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge with the world. It truly has inspired me and much appreciated. TAKE CARE AND BE WELL!!!
