MISSING DRUGS

  1. Our ambulances have safes that holds our narcotics box and the only people with codes is the assigned paramedic (EMT partner doesn't know the code) and EMS shift supervisor and then changes for the next incoming shift with electronic logs for even obtaining the narcotics to put them in the box. Random drug tests wasn't done as soon as the drugs came up missing is a big lapse in reasonability. Sounds like the agency is trying to cover something up.

  2. Thequestion is why they wasted the time. All suspects plus the chief needed to be fired plus stripped of any pension payments. Firefighters receive splendid retirement benefits after a few years and are able to retire in their 40s. These brnefits are never discussed.
A big thanks to the district attorneys who otherwise pursus cases for sometimes decades. If public servants steal drugs that are paid with taxpayers money which then cause someone in an emergency to die or to be endangered than this is not a simple drug case. But it does not come as a surprise since in America drug dealers and drug users are not being prosecuted anymore. Every drug user regardless of whether they tried it for the first time or is a habitual offender need to get 10 years in Alaska in a work camp like in China plus dealers needed to be hanged. That is why most Asian countries have no dug problems and America the worst problem of all. If you have district attorneys who refuse to punish drug dealers and addicts then no big surprise. Drugs kill. First the innocent bystanders like the family and other people who have nothing to do , then slowly the users. The violence in Mexico and political corruption cones from the profits of the drug trade. Most of you disagree because all of you smoked something in school and you think it did not hurt. Today's drugs are much more addictive for profit maximization and if you think drugs do no harm I hope your child or spouse will not get killed in a car accident caused by someone on drugs. People only start to think when their mother dies because the firefighter stole the drugs and sold them so that an innocent mother who could have been saved is dead.

  3. I was asked to come in early one morning to cover for other nurses. When I got there someone had taken all of the narcotics. My knees went weak. I wasn't there but I could have been. It was when two nurses from outgoing and incoming counted together and signed off. It was a nurse on the nightshift stealing for a nogood boyfriend. It was neither of the nurses counting. Missing one dose by a real error was stressful. I cannot imagine opening the the drawer and it was all gone.๐Ÿ˜ฎ This is sad for the department but yes too much time has gone by.

  4. Do police departments have prescription drop off programs in Florida?
There are a lot of hands involved in that process. From the officers who package the medication to the drivers who transport the drugs (usually to an incinerator,) there are opportunities to steal or swap the drug for supplements that have a similar weight and shape as their prescription partners.
