  1. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!

If you have an insurance claim and it has not been paid yet, call the insurance companies customer service number or the number your adjuster gave and and ask to speak to the FILE EXAMINER’S Supervisor!
That will get your file reviewed quickly.
If you have adhered to the terms and conditions of the policy, the insurance companies want to adhere to theirs!
The actual insurance company wants to pay you! You’re just not the wheel that’s making enough noise!

IF you haven’t had your house inspected yet, start making a list and taking photos, diagram what rooms you are able to and then ask if your claim can be partially handled over FaceTime.
This is done all the time in the insurance industry!

You deserve the money and the INSURANCE COMPANY wants to give it to you more than you want to get it!!

  2. Hey but Ron banned drag shows ! Hard at work for the Florida taxpayer. Millions spent on political stunts and court cases and making sure the rich people get their houses rebuilt. The poor ones can kick rocks. He used Covid funds from the feds on his migrant stunt, we could of used that. 12 million to fix this situation. Their solution is to phase in everyone in the state paying flood insurance. Even if you are 2 hours away from the coast and not in a flood zone like me. Look it up!

  3. We’re still waiting on a response from FEMA, it’s like we’re responding to a brick wall, we are now dealing with mold in our insulation from our roof lifting and our shed is still damaged in the back yard, can someone please help with this situation! I’m just so frustrated with FEMA but we need the help from them. FML

  4. It's great the media gets involved to help. However, all this tells me is how ineffective government regulatory agencies are, in this case State of Florida Insurance regulators. It is the same with State Government Banking Regulators (which would be a different agency). I have seen thousands of cases in the news, where people got money stolen from their bank accounts (and the bank said they wouldn't refund the money …that was until the media ran story on the cases). I think people forget your tax dollars pay the state and federal government employee salaries/health benefits and pension (and it starts at the top, the leaders of these agencies get paid very well, If I had an issue I would be contacting the governors office, state senator, congress official and all the other leaders in the other agencies until it got resolved, not just the media).

  5. IF YOU WANT TO GET RESULTS ON YOUR CLAIM, Ask your adjuster if he or she is an independent or staff adjuster. If independent, ask for their vendor ID number and years of experience. If staff adjuster, their information will be machine printed on their business card.

I was an INDEPENDENT insurance adjuster for over 20 years. Hurricanes are a nightmare – both for the homeowners and the insurance companies.
Everyone wants their claim paid YESTERDAY since they have more than likely just put most of their life on the curb for a claw to pick up later.
While that is going on for the homeowners, the insurance companies are working with independent adjusting firms to train, equip, and help the new adjusters get ready for their first or second deployment.
Most homeowners aren’t told the FACTS about all the regional, state, and federal laws and court rulings that an insurance company has to abide by.
Also, when homeowners are displaced by the hurricane, the insurance companies help find the homeowners a place to live if they have ALE additional living expense coverage. So, some of the adjusters are forced to drive a long distance to get to an area, so they try to get as many claims inspected while they are in an area. This gets the adjuster in trouble with a manager that usually knows as much as the adjuster and is being yelled at by some worthless account manager.

  6. Don't feel too bad. We are still dealing with the insurance company from Irma. They just settle in courty by the roof will not get done for month because the tiles are backed up because Ian. They paid the lawyers the same amount we got for the arbitration but denied to fix it for less since three years ago. It is a disgrace how the law only goes one way and big insurance companies get away with murder. 🤨

  7. WHERE IS YOUR HERO "SANTIS"?
HE SAYS ON TV ALMOST EVERY DAY: HE IS READY BEFORE HURRICANE IAN= BUT AFTER 3 DAYS THE POWER COMPANIES STARTING ARRIVING.. (SHAME LIER)
AFTER THE VOTING = HE DISAPPEARED.
HE IS NOT LONGER A HERO AND WIFE DOESN'T NEED TO CRYING ABOUT CARCER TO GAIN VOTES.
THIS IS THE PROBLEM ALWAYS AFTER A HURRICANE.
WHY HE IS WORRIED ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE THAN WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO DO TO HELP FLORIDIANS? HIS JOB?
WHY ALWAYS INSURANCE TAKES TO MUCH TIME SO OWNERS GET TIRED AND HIRE/SPEND THEIR OWN MONEY TO FIX THE HOUSES?
WJERE IS YOUR HERO FIGHT THE RIGHTS FROM INSURANCE COMPANIES…
STILL PLAYING WITH DISNEY? AND HE TRYING TO BLAME BORDER YET? TO GAIN VOTES?
SO HE CAN'T DO HIS JOB… MEANS HE CAN DO THE BIG PACKAGE.
    😬

  8. Usaa has done NOTHING for us. We've been living in a hotel since Christmas because the black mold almost KILLED me. USAA won't even answer the phone. Will not give us an adjuster and all emails go unanswered. After 3 months of sending videos and pictures, only to have them tell us over and over that they never got them, we hired an adjuster. Usaa won't respond to them either!. We have more damage than we even had coverage for, but that's on us. Not paying for our condo assessment, hotel stay or anything to due with damage Ian caused, that's on them. I thought making it through those 17 days without any electricity or water was the worst, not by a long shot. The anxiety and mental/physical toll all the months later to just get the coverage WE PAID FOR has been far worse than those 10.5 hours of relentless hurricane winds and water. The insurance companies should be ashamed.
