  1. As far as I know, the people that come out to pump out septic tanks don't have the right to stake off anybody's front yard.
Don't get me wrong it's horrific that this woman died but don't blame the company that let her know that it was damaged – what more can they do? They can't force somebody to repair something – they did their job by informing the woman of what needed to be done honestly what more could they have done???
    Very sad, tragic situation

  2. How did the woman die though? The reporter claims it would be difficult for her to get out. But those tanks are only like an inch above her head. It seems like no matter if it was full or empty she should have at the very minimum been able to prevent drowning, and could have called for help even if not being able to pull herself out.

Also its her own fault for being a Karen. Regardless of if she was being ripped off or not she had no idea what she was doing. As is typical decided she had to solve a problem that didnt exist, even though someone that actually has a clue told her otherwise. And just made everything worse. I'll bet instead of even being cautious when checking she probably just started jumping up and down to test it.

  3. Not the septic companies responsibility. They cant force a homeowner to get something repaired. No matter how unsafe. Yall sound like some children trying to blame the company. Blame the person who refused the repair, how about that?

  4. It’s not the companies responsibility to mark off the tank. That is the property owners responsibility especially after she was warned and made aware…

You can lead them to water but you can’t make them drink it…

  5. How you gonna blame a company that literally told you it was cracked. 😂 Grow tf up. I hate people anymore. Brain dead idiots with nothing better to do with their time than try and find excuses for their neglect. If you dont trust the repair people, get another inspection. If your life aint worth an extra fee to have a second opinion… seems like its your problem. The family will 100% try to sue over this and theyll just make an embarrassment of themselves

  6. I agree, the septic man should have gone farther than just telling her. He should have called the police and fire department, taped off the area, then ordered her a new tank at his expense. You can always count on the media to be jerks reporting what other jerks think and say. How about next time putting the blame where it belongs.
