Let nature take it's course.
People don't realize how much damage offshore dredging does to pumping sand onto the beaches. All of these beaches are sandbars. That's why they get washed away and you tax payers get to pay for this. There's no climate change. These wealthy yankees just don't get it that they are living on a SANDBAR and as green or tree huggers that they are, they don't care about destroying the hard bottom offshore to save their stupid, fake, beach.
Lot of good a beach renourishment project in 2024 will do when a major storm hits next year. Yep, that'll look like fort myers.
Let nature reclaim the area, the people are the problem.

I agree 100% next year we may loses a lot of stuff in st petersburg FL my a part ment building we can see the tiers under the building in the yard in the back right now if 1 big storm comes in here and dose enough damage it could take down the building i live in side of right now. and many others the found Nations of buildings in st petersburg need to be looked at hard and show dose the ground they built on all over not just on Beaches but inland as well some the building built back in 1980's are starting to have problems on found Nation and ground level my'n building is one them buildings its strong but it is falling a part and is at risk i believe of caving in soon. thats why am going to see about moving out of my building to new a part ment building after new years.
Oh, absolutely, I absolutely agree!! Went to Indian Rocks Beach and there is a 4 inch ledge where sand has eroded. Then 3 or 4 feet out, the amount of sand is so high that your feet hardly get wet. Indian Rocks is loved by so many natives and tourists, I really hope they do this.
