Holy god – don't buy real estate right now. We're on the cusp of a real estate crash – any program like this further blows up the bubble that's already there from when Trump last had his big, beautiful, fake economic boost by the Fed before he left office. The same one that inflated the real estate market to record levels and generated all the inflation we have now.
Fed is going to keep increasing the Fed Funds Rate until all those real estate investment firms finally buckle under their adjustable rate mortgages, bringing a crash twice the size as the last sub-prime crisis. A reminder that not only did we not put in safeguards to stop it from happening again, but firms refined their techniques to the point where they doubled their efficiency in acquiring property, driving the price of property and rent up astronomically. They cornered the market on real-estate. Fucking wild.
