Blaming a road accident on the illegal emigration status is like saying that you found convenient cause to blame, the emigrants and the border issue.

It is a tragedy that a police officer died on duty. He was hit by a car while he was standing on the busy highway. This accident could have caused a multi vehicle collision.

Drivers don't need to be legal workers to legally operate a vehicle in the US.
One has nothing to do with the other.

The legal question is if the the driver had a valid US DL or international drivers license.

It is irrelevant if the driver was a legal or illegal worker. The accident took place on the public highway not on the contraction site.

Did the driver have a valid driver's license?
