People now days get mad at cops when they do they job they got mfs who where up to no good off the street yea someone died and the people fleeing should be charged with that death …if u don’t want cops chasing mfs like this than let the deputy’s gun them down 🤷♂️ but naw them mfs start that blm shit like they where innocent smh so I guess people want cops to let criminals go then when they call 911 they want the cops to get them 😂 I don’t understand people tbh they cry wolf for everything
This is Polk county sheriff's fault why would they chase someone out of their county I thought that was illegal. But this jus goes to show that police will bend the rules to get someone and put many lives in danger like the chief said it's jus property that can be replaced lives were almost lost the police cruiser collied with the car while it was slowing down causing it to crash as it says on the article. There both wrong but they could've approached this in a much safer manner the cop is jus as guilty he was reckless driving I seen the whole thing on i4. At the end of the day is property that couldve been recovered but instead it ended in a crash
If their not stealing cars their shooting each other.
I see you don't give the race or the details about the drivers–which indicates to me they were black teenagers. There was no PIT Technique used on the car, so the driver obviously crashed all by itself. People in the comments argue that cops shouldn't chase–but the laws banning chases also let killers escape responsibility after a drive-by or car-jacking incident. Grow a brain, people–there are bad humans out there who need to be brought to justice!
Love,
David
is the suspect blk?
Should add a year to the sentence for every near collision with other cars when they flee
91 That is the number of innocent bystanders who were killed because of police pursuits in 2021. 2022 statistics are not out yet. Between 27-29% of all fatalities in police pursuits are innocent bystanders, based on the statistics from the 1970s to today.
This Florida chase comes just days after TWO CHIILDREN in Louisiana were killed by a cop chasing another stolen car! Is a charge of possession of a stolen vehicle really worth the lives of innocent bystanders? Is the cost of two lives worth the risks to recover a stolen vehicle? Back when cars were as big of a purchase as the cost of buying a house, I can see the pursuits having come into normal practice back then. BUT… not now. The value of cars does not hold the same significance that they did 50-80 years ago. They already knew exactly who the person in Louisiana was. A family member of the car's owner. Catch him later, coming out of his home, job, or trap house, wherever. Unless it is known that they are an immediate danger to the public (more dangerous than a high-speed fatal crash) or family, let them go, pick them up later!!!!! Even people who have nearly completed their doctorate degree in criminal sciences leave evidence behind…. the Idaho college murderer did, these less than criminal masterminds will too. If the police really care about getting their guy, they will do the work to find them. They just have to remember how to be police officers. As for now, if they can't collect revenue from tickets, can't chase it, shoot it, or kill it, they are not interested in doing police work. And let's remember one more thing… The United States Supreme Court has ruled that police have no duty to act. The Uvalde school massacre case proves that (nearly 400 sworn law enforcement personnel just stood there and did nothing until the real officers showed up) so these cops who engage in these pursuits CHOOSE to act. They don't have to give chase.
Actually there was two people sitting in the black altima who got injured. The cops chased the vehicle for over 30 min from polk County to a busy down town tampa and proceeded to chase the two suspects at crazy speeds causing an unnecessary accident for the stolen car to drive down a street that ends into a left or right turn only and the cop car also was speeding at a crazy speed which would cause them to hit a parked car with passengers in it.
There's something about the government cheese in Polk county that renders their skells a special kind of stupid.
Let me guess… it was a stolen vehicle!
Oh no!I hope they died!
Lol some how that car hit the black car… the dude just told you the cops hit the fleeing car on its side
Future Bucks prospects driving the stolen car?
I wonder what race they are. Probably Asians.
Where was Grady at the time of the crime?
Had to of been Boons.
I wonder what they ran from prob tired of Polk county sheriffs beating us
Hey Jeff, thanks for the report. And I will save you waiting on the "what started this" question. Couple thugs stole a car and when the police tried stopping them, they decided to run away endangering the lives of everyone in their path. I Pray for a speedy recovery of the innocent victim.
So the officer clipped the stolen car causing the wreck and injured
It was probably one of those illegals that rolled in on one of those Banana Boats down in Florida..Thanks Biden!!!👎
Wow Grady couldn’t stop it before it got to Tampa
