Florida is not a solid Republican state. If they do get a supermajority that's due to gerrymandering. Florida is a swing state, elections are closely fought, and it's pretty much 50/50.
Well, look at the Democrat control at the federal level. And many supermajority blue states like in NY, California and Hawaii.
