  1. I grew up below the poverty line, and was the kid everyone picked on in school. I didn't excell because public school was just a place I went to get beat up by students, and belittled/humiliated by "teachers". All together I was offered $400 in assistance to go to school, with divorced parents that made under 20k a year each. Why on God's Green Earth should I be on the hook for paying other people's student loans? Ive never been so fervently opposed to an economic policy as I am Student Loan Forgiveness. Educated Americans are the most priviledged and wealthy people to have ever roamed this planet. An amazing sense of entitlement from absolute worthless fucking leeches.

  2. Took me 10 years to pay off mine, but I paid it without any government handouts.
    And it’s their own fault they voted blue, their President ruined the country and the economy and now they can’t pay their bills.

  3. Tough to all those people that signed for a loan and then dare to complain they have to pay it off. We who bought cars, houses, use our credit cards HAVE TO PAY for OUR OWN LOANS…Disgusted with these people thinking they can go to college, take out loans and then expect someone else to pay for THEIR LOAN…YES IT WILL BE OUR TAX MONEY USED TO PAY THEM OFF. Those people are grifters.

  7. You want a free ride???? Work hard and apply for scholarships. Your whole life is a series of paying bills, and establishing credit. Why should one person pay in another not? Sorry, that’s the way it goes. Fair is fair.

  13. WOW!!! NOW YOU HAVE YOUR DEGREES, FIND A JOB AND PAY IT ALL BACK!! THE REST OF US HAVE ENOUGH TO PAY OFF OUR OWN DEBTS!!! JUST MAYBE THERE WERE A LOT OF US THAT JUST COULDN'T AFFORD TO GO TO COLLEGE. PAY YOUR OWN BILLS!!!

  19. Boo Hoo, I worked from the time I was 13 until I turned 65 doing hard manual labor in the construction industry, so tell me why my tax dollars should be used to pay off someone else's college party bill and degree in gender studies?

  21. They made the loan now you have to pay it back. A lot of us paid our loans off. The interest needs to be lowered but at the end of the day you made the loan. Tax payers shouldn’t have to pay your debt.

  25. You chose to take on the debt to go to college. Pay what you owe. You would have to pay a car or mortgage/rent. Why should my tax dollars pay for your school. I didn't go because I could not afford it. I had a great job even without a degree

Biden campaigned on this basically bought votes vote for me and I'll give you a free college education that's why they're so angry about it everybody complain about Trump building a wall that only cost a fraction of what this would and here we are with doing illegal immigration problem and unsecured border because Dems canceled that funding we have sent over 71 billion dollars to Ukraine in Aid and funds but this debt would be several times that amount

  36. Before you sign that contract, doesn't it stipulates, how much a month, percentage, for how long it will and the total? So suddenly it didn't occur to them they have to pay it back..then the white guy getting is Masters degree is saying the student loan payments are not appealing? Wtf, is wrong with these college grads. Its called loans and it means you pay back, like my mortgage. I can't suddenly say, " this is not appealing anymore", pres. BIDEN can you forgive my loan and let someone else pay it…wtf!

  37. Here is a clue, If you can't afford to pay your student loan debt, DON'T TAKE OUT THE LOAN!! DON'T TAKE MONEY YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY BACK!! NOBODY FORGAVE ANY LOAN I TOOK OUT, I PAID BACK EVERY DAMN ONE, WITH INTEREST!!

  38. Go get jobs to pay your own college bill. There is a reason people don't even go to college, because they can't afford too. Don't blame the hard working people to pay for your school payments. It's not about Republicans not caring, It's about Republicans work to pay our bills not pay for child who want something for free without having to work for it. If you can't pay then why stay!

  39. These darn kids that have gone to college most of them getting degrees in something they'll never be able to use need to get off their butts and pay off their loans like everybody else. Nobody else has gotten a free ride, Biden was just looking for votes for the Democrat side from these young people. Most of these kids that were talked to on the news said they were going to go on vacation or party well now it's time to pay the piper because Biden didn't come through as he promised. Nothing new there, he never follows through on what he says, all he does is lie! This other relief he's talkin about trying to facilitate is another pipe dream kiddies so be prepared to work hard or default. You got into debt long before Biden lied to you about loan relief so quit whining.

  40. The best lesson here is, don't spend money you don't have. That way, you will never be in debt to begin with.
    Also:
    Work for money, loans are to be paid back with the appropriate interest if the contract requires it, and donations are the only thing you don't have to pay back.

    Tough! We, normal people, are held to this standard, so we are holding you to this standard as well.

  41. Poor students, have to be responsible for their own actions now. GOOD, why should the rest of us who didnt go to college, or those who did and PAID their financial responsibility, pay for their loans they took????!
