Wow was this all with VLM? So much people hate on VLM! I would love some basic advice on how to get going I recently had a job similar to this but didn’t get the best results . Of course I would love to have At least a portable extractor for people that prefer Extraction. Can you recommend any good portables?

Could I also use 20% peroxide you talked about before instead of the go oxy and get similar results?

One more thought. As this carpet is so saturated with urine I would not have pre vacuumed it as that may have ruined the vacuum and you might never get the urine smell out of it.

You crazy carpet cleaner man! But seriously well done. When I run into those situations ( and I have never seen one that bad) I apply my urine treatment from the rotary applying very heavy using the brush as it penetrates into the fibre and I save the Ironman. In those cases I make sure I am applying enough that the solution actually foams up on the carpet with the brushing action into a slurry in the really bad areas. I buy my stabilized Clo2 in bulk power form and mix it up into my regular cleaner up to 3000 ppm. The Clo2 will remove both the odour and the staining as long as the mix is strong and it will also kill all germs, bacteria and viruses on contact as it is a hospital grade disinfectant. As I buy it in bulk in powder form the $ amount used is actually quite small. I do however charge more for this type of situation as it certainly is not standard carpet cleaning. If I apply a heavy amount I normally extract the excess with my self contained extractor and then put a few Ironman pads on to finish or some cases I might not even bother with the pads at all as the scrubbing with the rotary and then extraction is more than adequate. I have never had a complaint it didn't work in the 4 or so years I started using the Clo2 this way. But you are still crazy!

I can tell you I had fun doing a commercial job today, 90 percent humidity inside. Swamp ass doesn't even do it justice, but the old carpets that have never been cleaned turned out really good for how old they were.
