Tree trimming company out $19,200 after not being paid for work

I own a house painting business and I had a customer pass away before payment was made for painting his house. Over $20,000. So I had to put a claim in on his estate with the help of my lawyer and wait for whoever knows how long to get paid. Hopefully the house sells soon so I can pay my bills. So I definitely feel for this guy.

My only question is: How does a major bill due with multiple requests for payment get to "fall between the cracks?" in the pre-news story first place? Funny, funny how it's always "their mistake," but still your… problem. NOT!

Take them to court

If the check does not arrive put a lien on the property & cars/trucks/everything they own. Then if anything is sold by them then you will get paid.

Shame on this company for not paying. Obviously they are bring a lot of money in each month on rented apartments to pay this guy.

Always collect payment first. If they don’t want to pay up front, they’re not worth your headache. Plenty of customers out there will pay up front, especially to a reputable company.

BAN ABSENTEE LANDLORDS

They owe him interest, like 3000$ at least.

Bacon is it legal for a preacher to steal property and lie to people and that therefore free for over 20 years I have a preacher that lied to my wife said God told him to tell my wife to give him the property property here in Polk County Florida I like having investigated done on this preacher preacher that stole this piece of property

File a lawsuit.

As a contractor he should be able to put a contractors lien. That will become a headache for the owner. And should help to get paid eventually
