Johnathan Tripp purchased PuroClean Emergency Restoration Services on Jan. 1, a business which has operated in Sullivan since its opening by former owner Joe Ritchie in 2007.
Tripp took over as general manager in 2015 and, through Tripp Enterprises LLC, purchased the business and relocated it to a larger facility at 8953 North Service Rd., Bourbon.
Tripp stated that the former location on Springfield Road in Sullivan was no longer large enough for the company’s operations. The new facility provides the space needed for the company’s growth.
“I’ve been working for PuroClean for a long time and truly enjoy helping people,” said Tripp. “Prior to working for PuroClean, we needed the company to do some work for us and they did an amazing job. I thought then I’d really like to be a part of something like this someday.”
Tripp stated that this is a family-run business as his nephew, Jeremy Bandy, serves as project manager for the company that specializes in property damage cleanup from water, fire, mold, biohazard/trauma scenes and even professional carpet cleaning.
Tripp is a graduate of Sullivan High School and a graduate of East Central College, majoring in marketing and business management.
Tripp has also served his community for several years as Sullivan Chamber of Commerce President, served on the Meramec Community Fair Board where he currently serves as Vice President, is a former Sullivan Firefighter and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
“I not only enjoy being able to work in the community and help it grow, but really enjoy giving back where I can,” said Tripp.
All PuroClean Emergency Restoration Services carry the prestigious Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification, IICRC.
Tripp stated that his franchise covers east central Missouri, including Sullivan and the surrounding areas.
