I got a carpet brush for my Swirly a few weeks ago, a little different style than yours (I guess he's still perfecting them) the riser was to low and didn't allow the wheels to move back and forth very well over the carpet. Damon sent me a higher riser that still didn't get the height I needed. I took the riser from my Swirly and the first lower riser that came with the brush (they were both the same size) and put them together for the "Carpet Brush" and I used the higher riser that he sent me to make my Swirly "Malish Driver" even higher and I'm very happy with both of them!

The slots with screw head allow you to adjust the height of the inside spinner as the brushes get bent over.

Soft brissel brush would seem advantageous compared to a pad for agitation.
Might depend on situation?
