The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia said the vessel was reported overdue around 9:13 p.m. Sunday, about 435 miles (700 kilometres) south of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Lt. Cmdr. Len Hickey said a Canadian Coast Guard vessel and military aircraft were assisting the search effort, which was being led by the U.S. Coast Guard in Boston.

  4. It is obvious i t (the titanic ) doesnt want tourists there. It feels like the area is being defiled and all it wants is to be left in peace. There is too much bad juju pain tragedy trauma there…… not a tourist attraction. It's disrespectful to turn it into a money maker like the pearl Harbour ships you walk over.

  5. People need to leave the titanic alone. The unsinkable sank in less than 3 hours. That ship was a fist to God's face. God was not pleased and had to remind us that our arms are too short to box with Him. It doesn't matter how much money you have, we are mortal beings with so much power. Billionaires died last week and millionaires died on the titanic. God is no respecter of person. We are in for a rude awakening. Immorality is at an all time high on earth. Stay prayerful, read your bible, stay connected to a community of people with like morals/godly principles and help others. 🙏 ❤

  10. I will assume, the crew has their phones and was recording at some point before God called them home. 95% people these days have Iphones which will be save on their Icloud. Just curious if there are any footage before the tragic that cause them to passed away. The family of the crew you all have my deepest condolences, May God comfort you and continue to be with you.

  12. Oh for goodness sake it was a tourist submersible, typical American, you over analyze the situation and then it becomes cloudy. You are all bunch of 'know it alls' but know nothing. The submersible was descending, and lost comms. There is nobody to rescue. You two are a couple of no hopers.

    The Titanic is a crime scene/grave and should be buried for all-time and the area around should be memorialized. Say your prayers over as you pass but FUHOK site-seeing@the grave. Feeling is mutual for the World Trade Center.
