In today’s episode the customer sprayed resolve pretty much all throughout the carpets. Just left a very soapy foamy residue. I was only able to do 2 – 4 foot sections at a time and then rinse the foam out of the waste tank in order to continue cleaning. The foam inhibits the vacuum pressure and clogs up the tank. I used about half a gallon of Defoamer as well. What should have taken a couple hours ended up taking four hours. If you are going to use soapy spotters like resolve you absolutely must neutralize the soap by pouring white distilled vinegar on it afterwards and blotting out the high PH soapy cleaner. Or use professional equipment to extract and rinse. These products clean the spot and then because the residue left behind, the spot quickly reappears. Its a PH thing too much alkaline leaves residue. You must neutralize it with an acid type product like white vinegar. PH scale goes from 1-14. 7 is neutral. ( google it 🤣🤣)

Pog will stop the foam
Great info!!!!
Awww wish I would have been able to see that extraction but I get it had already put you behind. Floors look amazing though.
Wall to wall Wool is never seen over here, so I understand your frustration with that product because wool will retain all that residue in it until you rinse. Great video!
