  1. Paul C, is a company in NC that uses a white compound, They spread the white compound on the need it area and CRB the carpet, then the vacuum and I was in the house while they was doing this method and works good, I asked the tech what kind of compound he was using however he limit himself to said that "was a proprietary compound that his company use" Happy Thanksgiving !

  2. The white powder products are easier to remove than the sponges that resemble sawdust. I like to use a vacuum with a agitator roller brush. Good luck, hope the customer is satisfied.

  3. Well Paul looks like you got yourself pretty covered with the two comments one of them from Robin but one way or another you still got to clean out that sibo duo I know I have to clean it out every time along with removing the brushes and believe it or not I use ammonia and a water hose for cleaning it only because it dries to a neutral and the odor eventually goes inert where degreasers will leave a smell and residue behind on the brushes.
PS I'm careful of how I spray water around where the brushes lay at so I don't get any inside and short anything out.
    👍😁

  4. I did that system for years but with the Host system. It does work pretty well and the Capture system is the powder the Sebo was intended for. If the carpet is not overly soiled it should work fine and if there are any stains you could pre treat them and use a towel to remove and then clean with the powder. In bad areas you could lightly pre mist with a neutral cleaner with a trigger sprayer but don't get it too wet as the powder is pre moistened. Make sure you mix it up before applying to distribute the moisture in the bucket.

  5. The Duo was invented to deal with dry compound. Sebo sells its own dry compound.

I THOUGHT that was going to be my business model so I did it for about 3 months about a decade ago. I found the compound to be expensive and you’d still need a light prespray at times. BUT, when you have heavy embedded stains, I found the compound to be clutch because it can pick up large deposits at once and be vacuumed up. Like when you have a graphite stain or a bad traffic lane.
