Sean Frazier never would have imagined during his first job with Environment Control cleaning Victoria’s Secret headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, that 30 years later, he would be celebrating the 15th anniversary of Environment Control Ohio Valley as the founder. At the open house commemorating the anniversary, Frazier credited the company’s success to his dedicated staff.

Ohio Valley Environment Control offers a variety of services, from power washing to carpet cleaning. Frazier said that the key to success that has allowed the company to grow and thrive in Wheeling is putting “people first,” whether it be their clients or employees.

On the client side, Frazier explained that Environment Control Ohio Valley recognizes that, as a business, they are not only cleaning but making sure that customers who partner with them know when they come in to work the next morning, “everything will be clean and taken care of.”

On the employee side, he explained that they want to have a positive impact on all employees, including giving staff the mobility in the company to move from part-time cleaners to possible management positions. As someone who started as a cleaner in the company, Frazier explained he sees the importance of allowing employees to find “dignity, respect and opportunity” with Environment Control Ohio Valley.

“I’ve got awesome people here, I’ve been blessed,” said Frazier “I have three employees still working here today that have been with me since the start of the company.”

Bre Jobson, an employee who has been with the company for 12 years, was able to move from part-time cleaner to one of the operations managers of the company. She explained that as she moved from part-time routine cleaner to supervisor and then operations manager, Sean remained the “heart and soul” of the company for her.

“It’s all really because of him that we’re here,” added Jobson. “It’s been amazing to see the business grow and me along with it.”
