  1. Ours went up by almost 100 percent with Kin! We have not even claimed a single issue ever since we bought our house 3 years ago. It's an absolute crime what's happening here. We are insurance hunting but don't have high expectations.

  4. People blaming insurance companies.. smh.. they are all going bankrupt.. its floridians.. you think you can sue sue sue for everything without consequences. Same thing in car insurance. You look at someone and they are hurt calling Morgan and Morgan. All you did was make the attorneys rich!

  5. Florida Republicans made it so insurance companies essentially can't be sued in court for not paying a legit claim. They think this is the answer. Wow. They think Floridians paying for insurance that will never pay a claim is an answer.

    They're 1000% dumber than I thought they were.

Security First are crooks, they cancel me after I retracted my claim, it was the only claim I had ever filed and I cancelled it after I had found a company that cost me less than the other company, so I withdrew the claim, they charged the claim against me and didn't pay a penny. Anyone has Security First find another carrier. Before they leave Florida leave them. The more people leave them, they will go under. Do them before they do use ( Floridians). We are tired of these insurance companies and the insurance commission isn't helping us, nor the governor. They can do better for voters.

  10. What do you expect when you let the lawyers own the system….. will take a while till the law helps about time . Now investigate why the CFO and assistant resigned. We dont care how many jobs she has. she is the same as everyone except the lawyers.

  11. Floridians love to sue now they are confused. 😂 blame the assignment of benefits and roofing companies for this. Also, citizens was about to lose its reinsurance news outlets keep ignoring this. If Florida didn’t pass what they just did it would have cost 1.6million people thier policies of which zero insurance companies would of picked up.

  13. Well Floridians…hope you can afford to lose some of the money you may be awarded if you sue them, because you will have to PAY insurance companies' lawyers fees. Desantis held a "special" session just for them (allegedly his campaign donators). His possible goal: potentially his 2024 presidential campaign $$. He's not really looking after his constituents. If he's doing this special session just for this, what about other insurance…say people's HEALTH insurance. He better think really hard about his voting base, such as, senior citizens in FL. It would be a hysterical if he ran for president and loss, because he lost FL.

  14. Now everyone knows what its like to have inflation hit you. Us renters were hit hard by huge rent increases & this left alot of people homeless. Not too mention the fact it ruined their rent history to be capable of finding more affordable housing.

  18. This is something that family should fight is ridiculous and should be illegal. Why illegal home owners insurance are the number thief, you pay so much money for many years and at the end of a disaster they don't pay. So, this should not be allowed.

  19. Funny it's supposed to be the conservative paradise. No state income taxes, you will pay more on your insurance then I pay for state income tax , property tax and home owners insurance in CA and I do make a decent wage.
