In Riverview during Irma in 2017 I had no electric for 5 days. No power again from Ian. Could be days, and we did not even get hit that badly.

For many, electricity may not return for a month. There are millions without power across the state. I’m so blessed that my electricity never went out as Ian stalled over my house for 24 hours in east central Florida. My power lines are underground.

Of course many are “still” without power. It’s been one day! Thank God to be alive & thank God for all those working around the clock to help restore power.
