Marolyn Johnson Reeves, 87, of Tallahassee, went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Abbey Funeral Home, with burial following at Aenon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service.
Marolyn was born November 1,1936 to the late William Elbert and Abbie Jones Johnson in Decatur County, GA. She was retired from the Leon County Sheriff’s Office and was a long time member of Aenon Baptist Church.
She was a loving mother to Ronnie (Gina) Reeves and Sandra (Darrell) Merrill; wonderful grandmother to her seven grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Morgan, Autumn (Jose) Sanabria, Jordan Merrill, Mason Reeves, Perry Reeves, Presley Reeves, and Madison Reeves; and two great-grandchildren, Brittin Sanabria and Jane Faulkner. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Brakefield Colston.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters, and special friends Gene and Betty Goodman.
