20-year-old Michael Hoerig had dreams of being Mr. Olympian. His dreams were cut short in Oct. 2022 when he was hit by a teenage driver believed to be traveling at speeds over 100 miles per hour, leaving him brain-dead. Hoerig died days later.

  1. BS you can't report his name because of age. Everyday in the News minor suspects names and faces are put in the News.
No, there's another reason why they are not releasing that info, guaranteed.

  2. I personally think that teens in the USA try to proof themselves all the time through wreckless behavior because there is so much bullying among them. It is like a cancer ulcer. Gets proven online by all of these typically american cyber bullies all the time. As far as I did observe the internet communication american teens act like hyenas towards each other.

  4. So sorry for you and your family. Mine had to go through something very similar, but the driver was never charged because her husband was on the county police force. My sister was only 16 in 1980. It is something that is profound and life changing. May your son RIP 🙏🏻
