  1. Thank you both JB and Staci on the wonderful report yall did on Ms Jan. AWP and the rest of the divers are awesome and has helped so many families across all the states to give closers to the families.

  2. Great job Aventures with purpose and all volunteers!! I always start my sonar from when I get in a lake until I leave ! But my sonar isn't as good as there's so the chances of seeing a car is rare …

  3. Don't forget that we are living in an age where the Leftist politicians and certain anti-law enforcement groups are actively trying to defund local police agencies. The sonar equipment, the boats, the cameras, etc. used by AWP are mostly a result of private donations of funds and they are all volunteers. In some areas, the police and sheriff's offices do have rescue dive teams, and boats, but in this age of the left's defund the police movement, our law enforcement and first responders are having the life squeezed out of them. They don't have the resources to spend on their normal duties, let alone for searching multiple bodies of water. Officers are quitting from areas where criminals and crazed activists are just walking up to police cruisers and executing officers who are simply parked trying to catch up on the paperwork generated from their latest call. Criminals know this. Thieves, gang members, and people committing insurance fraud are dumping vehicles by driving them into lakes and rivers off boat ramps, either in an effort to collect insurance proceeds and get out from under a mortgage they can't afford, to doing it as part of a gang initiation. We are living in crazy times. In my local area, law enforcement has busted a number of chop shops that were dismantling stolen cars for the value of the parts. The cars used to be dumped on the side of deserted roadways and burned to remove evidence. Now the aluminum-bodied cars are simply cut up into small pieces and sold to a scrap dealer while the others are run off into a body of water. In a recent trip to Fort Worth, TX, AWP helped in the recovery and removal of around 17 vehicles that they located in bodies of water there.

  4. maybe you could investigate how many hundreds of thousands of dollars were captured by the police in their search "efforts". It is a great thing what "Adventures With a Purpose" do. Amateurs searching for answers for loved ones. Something the "paid" failed to do.

  5. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘God blessings upon these guys: continue doing what youโ€™re doing, stay safe and blessed. Condolences to the families of the deceased.

  6. I always tear up when theyโ€™ve found someoneโ€ฆ itโ€™s a sad yet happy ending for the familiesโ€ฆ at least they know. At least they have their loved one back. Just imagine how many missing people may be in the water.

  7. Our government keeps cutting budgets and supposedly using it for more important areas. But in my 46years on this earth I've watched new taxes be created and tax increases!!! Yet everything from schools to roads to police have been cut down to bare essential programs classe sizes have doubled training programs for kids have been cut road repairs consist of a shovel of asphalt being added every 6 months to pot holes and the city workers pay/pensions have been cut down or cancelled so it doesn't surprise me at all that police don't have proper training and equipment to do a thorough job when searching for missing people

  8. Fishermen using sonar fish finders can do this looking. AWP says all the time, fishermen just pay attention to what is on the bottom. This is now a MOVEMENT all across the US. Chaos Divers, Muddy Waters…..diving groups all over are doing this. It's ALL volunteer, crowd funded &NEVER a charge to the families. AWP started just to clean up rivers & lakes. Many PD do not have designated dive teams or they have older equipment due to budget issues. My brother was a rescue/recovery diver before he was killed. Support these guys and/or your local Divers. Thank you, guys, as always.
