Glad she is in jail…….but if you put a pool on your credit cards….you cant afford a pool…you are a financial moron.

If she can afford a lawyer. Doesn't that mean that the people she swindled are paying for her defense.

I’m so sorry but it rubs me the wrong way when someone is complaining when they can afford to blow more than $80,000 on a pool.
I’m a single mom and I work 6days/week, bc i don’t receive child support. I agonize over every grocery I buy, and I cook all our food from scratch, including bread (still expensive, but less so than buying ready made). I don’t begrudge others their wealth – I want all of us to win, but to have that much money and be complaining is a bridge too far IMO. $80,000 would change my life. That’s rent, living expenses, and fulltime tuition to finish my BA, and she’s mad bc she has to spend more than that, on a pool. Must be nice.

Some of the blame for this is on the customers. Who in their right mind pays up front?

As a former contractor, things can go awry financially, but you communicate, and work your way out of the bind. Once its went this far its a pyramid scheme
