St.Pete’s largest concrete pour for new tower could delay traffic during weekend

Just what St Petersburg needs another building of luxury condos. I hope the city engineers and traffic departments have put considerable effort in figuring traffic flow to come. 🤔

The largest concrete pour in this country was a floor for a circuit city warehouse in marion il..they poured 129000sqaure feet .rhats roughly 10 acres…the concrete contractor was Vee Jay concrete out of st Louis mo ..aecond largest concrete company in the world…at the time… cement masons were provided by local 143 of the masons union out of Champaign il ..its actually recorded in the gunnies book of world records as the largest continuous pour …im just saying in case someone mite wonder…and yes i was there…

I've been watching these buildings going up. I pray they are strong enough for a hurricane. They all have wood frames.
