We’re excited to announce the most recent addition to the Chamber workforce, Melinda Baker!“I used to be fortunate sufficient to be raised in Tallahassee and loved rising up within the stunning rolling hills of North Florida. With long-standing roots within the Tallahassee group, I’ve had an in depth profession in insurance coverage, advertising and marketing and hospitality. I’m a proud graduate of Leon Excessive College and attended the College of Florida. I began my profession working within the household enterprise at Rogers-Atkins Insurance coverage and realized I cherished the advertising and marketing side of enterprise and helped oversee all advertising and marketing efforts for a number of skilled legal responsibility applications insuring Osteopaths, Podiatrists and Chiropractors nationwide.
After residing in Atlanta for a number of years, I moved again to Tallahassee in early 2001 and labored for Seminole Boosters, Inc. helping with their first Capital Marketing campaign. I then had the chance to turn out to be the Membership Director on the College Heart Membership. After virtually 10 years, I transitioned away from membership and have become the Director of Advertising for Scholar Housing Options after which the Director of Actual Property Providers for Benchmark Actual Property Providers. After a number of years, the membership world was calling my identify and I used to be fortunate sufficient to return again to the College Heart Membership till it closed in December of 2021.
I’m very excited to be becoming a member of the superb Better Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce as their new Membership Director. It seems like coming residence!
