Would using one those bissell carpet cleaners work as a prewash . They aren’t professional tools at all but I would imagine they would suck up a lot of the dirt out
Thankfully I rarely ever get his type of situation as my pricing tends to filter this out. Although rare If i came across this I would politely pass as clearly this is way beyond any normal expectation and clearly is a very abused carpet. In my experience the customer in situations like this is completely aware that their carpet is far beyond any "normal" clean and no matter who cleans it and no matter what method the results will be less than stellar. I learned long ago not to try to be the hero and I know that there are limits to what I am able to do. I have restored many carpets that were in terrible condition but occasionally I have walked away because I know it is a lost cause. If a truck mount was used on that carpet it would do alright likely but it would resoil rapidly for sure. Terribly abused carpet, frustrating to attempt to clean and not worth the time in my opinion.
Damn you need your rotary for that with a brush or fiber pad. Then a Ironman. Much faster and does a better job. Yea I know carrying it up stairs is not easy.
1) you might need to raise your prices, man. If you’re getting a lot of these, then you’re too accessible. Your ideal clients don’t live like that. 2) at the very least, set up a restoration fee. They know their carpets are awful. Post it on your website making that plain.
Hey Paul, these carpets were a disaster. It’s good you set the expectations first and price before because at best those will be 70-80% better at best. A 10inch CRB would make faster work for a prescrub.
The Wakulla boys soccer team beat South Walton Thursday to win the Class 4A District 1 championship Thursday night, their second straight district title.

Hot water extraction would been best for that one
You cleaned the entire unit with an oreck orbiter green brush and pad 🤣🤣🤣
Paul wow was that ever a project just doing the nasty stairs!
P.s. you’re the best Paul
What is a good pre stain remover to use with the oreck, before you start you start? For obvious stains that you know could come out

A truck mount would have gotten that looking new with the right chemicals. I've seen way worse.
