I did a job where the customer had their own black light. When I got there they turned off the lights and showed me where all the urine stains were along the wall and throughout the house. The carpet appeared clean and there was only a moderate odor. After doing all the steps according to the Institute inspection carpet cleaning restoration, the order was gone and all that was left was for the carpet to dry. I was called back because the black light was showing some additional urine stains. Here’s a great video of how to explain how you’re in a fix carpet and that sometimes all of the elements that make up your own or broken down to remove the odor that due to the loss of red dye in blue dye from the acidic and alkaline urine it leaves only a yellow color which can be detected only with the black light. Basically what you have is no urine just the color loss which is similar to the stamp they put on your hand at an amusement park which you cannot see until you put the black light on it. Or similar to if you go to a nightclub and get your hand stamped or those magic invisible pens. So there’s nothing to be nervous about there’s no bacteria in the carpet in the year and has been removed. Sometimes during for trying evaporator process some of the residual urine that may have been deeper in the pad could surface and appear on the carpet when it is dry. This is easily resolved I just bring a topical enzyme on it and let it sit for 8 to 10 hours. No need to rent it will obliterate any urine salts on the surface. Thanks for watching
