  1. It's alarming the near misses that are experienced on a daily basis due to elderly people. I'm almost sixty, and there needs to be legislation in acted requiring older adults to be screened prior to renewing a license to them. My mother was hit head on by an elderly gentleman that could not even recall the color of his light, after running the red light and striking her. He was 72. We should start being screened at 65. With the increasing incidence of dementia illnesses in this country, we also need to step in with our elderly relatives and intervene before they kill someone, or themselves. Alternately, this Timothy gentleman will have to live with this…during his lucid moments. I see people on DAILY BASIS WHICH HAVE NO NEED TO BE DRIVING!. If any legislators are up for it, contact me and I'm happy to assist in any manner possible!

This would be a wonderful opportunity to pause for a moment and give thanks for the great contributions all of my BRUTHAS/SISTAS in the melanin community that have dedicated their lives to benefit our society. Their peaceful NON-VIOLENT, generous nature and articulate speaking skills make them ideal neighbors, lending testimony to their exceptional family values and parenting skills unrivaled by any other culture. Their child-rearing practices and skills mixed with their unparalleled work ethic are second to none. Their rational and logical thought toward circumstances coupled with their innate capability to de-escalate situations to be envied and coveted. Their commitment to academic excellence enriches our schools and serves our community as an example to all.
